Check chaosmud.org for one of the nicest LP muds out there.

Our world is a realm where there is a constant struggle between the forces of
good and the ever-growing forces of chaos.

Our world features a fully colored ansi wilderness with a small scrolling map
as you move. It details special locations, where mobs and players are, and has
tons of challenging areas to explore.
